Science Fair Boards are due Wednesday, March 4th!
Remember to include the Scientific Method: 1. Purpose-What do you want to learn? 2. Research- Find out as much as you can about your purpose/topic. 3. Hypothesis- A prediction or guess about what will happen in your experiment. 4. Experiment-Testing your hypothesis. 5. Analysis- Record your data, what happened in your experiment. 6. Conclusion- Was your hypothesis correct? Explain.

Current Curriculum
Math: Multiplication-single and double digit; division; skip counting by 7's; subtracting/adding/multiplying money; place value (ones, tens, hundreds, thousands); labeling addition problems with the terms addend and sum; labeling subtraction problems with minuend, subtrahend and difference.
Reading Groups: ALL reading groups are reading through or Science book, Treasures from Earth.
Phonics: Parts of speech, suffixes, plurals, proof reading, alphabetizing and finding words in a dictionary.
Gym: A variety of games and exercises that encourage gross motor skills, following directions and good sportsmanship....KICK BALL!
Science: Rocks, Soils and Minerals; how they are alike and different and the layers of soil.
History: Economics- what are resources and goods; "wants" and "needs"; the market and buyers/sellers.
Writing: Cursive handwriting and writing imaginary stories.
